Nancy Hetten Obituary

Nancy Ann Hetten
Nancy Fehnel Hetten, age 83, passed away peacefully on April 6th, surrounded by her four loving children, Cheryl, Carol, Ronald Jr, and Christina. Born in Allentown, Pennsylvania as one of twelve children.
Nancy treasured her family dearly and left an impact on anyone she met. Always showing off her eye for color she would keep her flower beds rich and vibrant. Her creative ability would shine through in crocheting, baking, and crafts. Assuredly she can now enjoy a game of gin rummy with her late husband, Ronald Sr. Nancy (Ma) will be missed by her children and their spouses, her grandchildren plus her great granddaughter, along with the rest of her Pennsylvania family.
Funeral services were held privately and at the convenience of the family.

Heard Bushel and a Peck on the radio this past summer. We have satellite, but I've never heard that song other than when you would sing it. Almost picked up the phone to call you on Katie's first day of school. Picked up a peach pie at the Orchard and it was lousy compared to yours. Spent your birthday in PA. It isn't the same with you gone, but it will always be my home away from home. Still look for you in many spaces and places. Miss and love you, Chrissy

I know that I came in like a wrecking ball and we both almost didn't make it. Thanks for helping me believe that some things in life are meant to be and thank you for being this mom to me.

It's hard to listen to country music without you, but please don't stop sending the songs.

To a light that should not have gone out, you were more than a mother, you were a best friend, a teacher, a caring role model for all who knew you. That vibrant personality has been extinguished and will never be replaced. I know you are happy, and I must put my feelings at bay to know that you are resting peacefully. The four of us will be ok; we will take everything that you and dad taught us and apply them to our lives moving forward. Spring is in the air, and I am going to miss planting all the flowers that you were so happy about picking out. I will miss everything about you, the long talks, the baking classes, the unplanned projects. Please know that I am ok, and I will continue with all the traditions we shared all thru the years. I miss you so much and I love you with all my heart.
