STANLEY, NEVA DELL.
Neva Dell Stanley was born August 21, 1939 to the late Earnest and Ida Lee Williams in Vidalia, GA. She entered eternal rest Tuesday, February 2, 2016. She was formerly employed with Curtin Livery Service as a driver, Sylvan Manor in Food Preparation, Side Affect West as a bartender and cook, Stanley's Southern Hospitality as a cook. Her spiritual needs were met at Faith Revival Center, where she served as a faithful member, Church Mother, Choir Member, School Teacher on the Security Team and a Church Custodian. She was predeceased by her parents, a brother, Lee Nelson Williams and sister, Earnell Williams. She is survived by her children, Cordell (Rosa) Wooden, Edward (Angela) Terrell, Randolph Phillips, LaVonn (Maria) Drake, Ulysses (Tracey) Stanley, Jr., Deborah D. Stanley, Gwendolyn (Samuel) Williams, William C. Stanley, Eric Stanley, April (Wade) Stanley and Solomon D. Stanley, her siblings, Theawander (Hazel) Williams, Quinell Bright, Patricia (Charlie) Cummings, Vera (Darrel) Grimes, twenty-eight grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and a host of other nephews, nieces other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Tuesday 11:00 AM at First Baptist Church of Stratford, 1301 Stratford Avenue, Stratford, CT with Bishop James Shannon, officiating. Friends are invited to the viewing at from 10am-11 am at the church. Interment is private.
