Nick was my first boss when I joined Sikorsky in 1978. He was a wonderful boss and mentor, and he and his family remained friends for many years. He was a kind, loyal, smart, and compassionate man who will be missed by so many for many years to come. I send my deepest sympathy and love to Evelyn, Rick, and Nick and the entire family.

My deepest sympathy to Evelyn, Rick , Nick Jr. and family. It was an honor to know Nick all the way back to when Rick and I played in Babe Ruth baseball. He was always a kind, smart and good man. And always a classy guy. I feel a great sense of gratitude to the strong support he gave me in campaigns and for his counsel & wisdom on legislation affecting the defense industry or our hometown of Ansonia. Good public servants like Nick Amico are rare and his contributions to the public good were significant. God bless you, Nick and thank you.

On behalf of the Sons and Daughters of Italy in Derby, I would like to express our deepest sympathy to Evelyn and her family. Evelyn and Nick would often come with a full table of people to our Friday night dinners. They were such a wonderful and loving couple. We were always amazed how enthusiastic and lively they were as a couple at their age. It’s nice to know how active Nick and Evelyn were throughout their lives and all the memories they made while traveling and being with friends.. Rest in peace, Nick.
Warmly,
Barbara Ostrosky
