Dear Connie and all the kids, deeply sorry to hear of your loss. Our prayers are with you all. As you know, Paul was my Godfather for Baptism and I can still visualize being over your house on Lenox Avenue or Paul and Connie over our house for one of our occasions. When I told my mother and father about Paul, he didn't take long to say he remembered when he and Paul had rented an attic apartment together and slept in the same bed! He laughed when he said that Paul wouldn't just roll in bed but would actually turn over abruptly on his side and constantly wake him up! He also had fond memories of Paul letting my father's sister (my godmother Ann Dorocak/ deceased) ride on the handle bars of his bike. My father told us that Paul said that my mom wouldn't go out with him because he was too ugly! Paul was such a great kidder. My father and mother will miss him. Connie, I didn't hear about the wake until the day after. I would have loved to pay my respects to my godfather. May he rest in peace and watch over and guide you. Love George, Patti, Paige, Tyler and Aaron Mino XOXO

Dear Mrs. Pastor and Family:
I am so sorry to hear about Mr. Pastor's passing. Take comfort in knowing that he is with our loving God. Since I heard, I've been thinking about those loving, carefree days of childhood at St. Cyril & Methodius Church and School. I also remember a visit one winter day sledding down the street from your home. The Pastor and Papin children, what a fun day. God bless and comfort you at this difficult time.

Dear Connie Lappen & Family,
I know this is such a difficult time for you, as it is for everyone who loses a family member, especially a parent. There is a special bond between a father and a child that is everlasting.
