Paul Strauss Obituary

STRAUSS Paul A. Strauss, age 57, of Monroe, beloved husband of Mary Meyer Strauss, entered into rest on Tuesday, February 20, 2007 at Bridgeport Hospital. Paul was born on July 24, 1949 and was the son of the late Clemen Strauss. Paul graduated from the University of Bridgeport in 1971 with a Bachelor of Science Degree and was a purchasing manager for PDC International of Norwalk. He was the vice president of Young Artists Association of Fairfield. Survivors in addition to his devoted wife, include one son, Ryan Strauss of Monroe; his beloved mother, Bertha (Janis) Strauss of Southbury; two sisters, Cynthia Scanlon of Colorado and Gail Sangani and her husband, Bipin, of Oxford; one niece and one nephew; and several cousins. Friends are invited to attend the funeral on Friday, February 23, 2007 at 11 a.m. (DIRECTLY) in St. Jude's Church of Monroe with a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull. Friends may greet the family on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Spadaccino Community Funeral Home, 315 Monroe Turnpike, Monroe. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to his son's college fund for Post University, Waterbury.
