Some of Philip's favorite things were tennis, gadgets, going to the movies, BBQ grilling and hot and "spicy" foods. He was also his children's biggest fan and was very involved in all their activities and achievements. Philip was a devoted and loving husband, father and son and a great Mr. Fix-It.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Rosemary (Vigliotti) Popick and his three children, Ross, Reid and Cassandra; his parents, Philip F. and Renee Popick and Rosalie (Aguilar) Popick; a sister, Tara Popick and her partner Francois Gehin; and a niece, Zoe Gehin; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Philip will always be remembered as a kind, loving and easy-going guy who will be sorely missed and never forgotten. He was truly loved by all.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, July 8, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. at St. James Church, Stratford with Rev. Thomas Lynch officiating. Interment will take place privately at the discretion of the family.
Friends may call on Sunday from 2 to 6 p.m. at the Pistey Funeral Home, 2155 Main Street, Stratford.
