Ray Baldwin Obituary

Raymond L. Baldwin
Raymond Lucian Baldwin, age 66, of Seymour, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, December 21, 2017, peacefully, at his home. He was born in Bridgeport on March 17, 1951, the beloved son of the late Burton and Grace Mellin Baldwin. Raymond was a longtime member of the Riverside Community Church of Oxford. Prior to moving to Seymour ten years ago, he resided in Oxford. He was a former employee at Collins Paper Box Co. of Oxford. Raymond enjoyed going to the casino and playing bingo. He was a NY Yankee Fan, and most of all enjoyed being with his family and friends, and will be sadly missed by all, but will remain forever in our hearts.
His loving family includes his caring sister Margaret Baldwin of Seymour, his good friend George Beaver of Beacon Falls. He was predeceased by a brother Clarence Baldwin, and a sister Barbara Baldwin.
A Memorial Service in Celebration of Raymond's Life will be held on Thursday, December 28, 2017 at 6:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Miller-Ward Funeral Home, 260 Bank Street (Rt. 67, across from Klarides Village), Seymour with Reverend Hal Hunt, Pastor of Riverside Community Church of Oxford, officiating. Friends and family may call at the funeral home from 4:00 p.m. until the start of the service at 6:00 p.m. Interment will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in memory of Raymond may be made to Riverside Community Church of Oxford through the funeral home.
