Raymond Edward Lutka entered eternal rest on December 20, 2024. He was the son of Edward and Frances Lutka of Stratford, and brother to Charlotte Lutka. Raymond was an Oxford resident, formerly of Bridgeport. Ray was an army veteran. After serving the community as a Trumbull police officer, he was retired from the Bridgeport Police Department, where he served more than 20-years. He was an expert marksman and instructor for the city of Bridgeport. He loved camping and fly-fishing on the Housatonic River. After retiring, he captained private boat charters. He leaves behind his wife Joan, four daughters; Linda (Roy) Holcomb, Sandie (Richard) Skudlarek, Christine (Jeff) Curley, and Julia Lutka, and was pre-deceased by his daughter Susan. He will be missed by his ten grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Interment was held privately.
