My heart goes out to you all.
I found out just today. I'm at a loss for words. I always felt that Rich and I would someday be together again, as he was my best friend. I just prayed that he found his way and was happy.
I am truly sorry.

Dearest Family of My Friend, Richie:
My heary was broken the other morning when I saw the obituary. I still cannot comprehend that he is gone. I had not seen Rich in awhile and I had hoped that he would find happiness and peace.I did not wish to interfere with the new life he had, but I will always wish I had called him on his birthday as I wanted to.
He had told me so much about his beloved family. May you find some measure of peace in knowing that he loved you all very much and was very proud of his family. May he be at peace near his beloved mother. I will never forget him and will always wish things had turned out another way.
