My sincere condolences to Rita's family and friends.
Her wonderful quilted square is the focal point of the Monroe Historical Society's Bicentennial quilt. Whenever anyone looks at the quilt, they are drawn to Rita's exquisite detail.

Our little corner of the world has not only lost a creative artist but a good friend . I will always remember the encouragement Rita gave me to believe in my art ability. I thank her often when I attempt to do any art project.

Rita and I were colleagues at Fawn Hollow School . It was a pleasure to work beside such a talented person. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her and shared her many talents. My sincerest sympathy to her family . Hold those wonderful memories of Rita close to your heart as I will.
