Deptula, Sr., Robert A.
Robert A. Deptula, Sr., age 77 of Shelton, entered into rest on Wednesday January 4, 2017 in
CT Hospice with his family by his side. He was the devoted husband of the late Dolores (Synos) Deptula. Bob was born in Derby on June 23, 1939 son of the late Joseph and Mildred (Andrews) Deptula and was a lifelong Shelton resident. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. Bob was a Master Tradesman for the State of CT for over 30 years before his retirement. After retirement he was employed as a courtesy car driver for 15 years at Curtis Ryan Honda. He is the beloved father of Robert A. Deptula, Jr., James Deptula, John Deptula, Kenneth Jefferies, Kathy Borg, and Tommy Herbette. He also leaves nine loving grandchildren, one great granddaughter, and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by one brother and one sister. Friends may greet his family on Tuesday January 10, 2017 from 4 to 6:30 p.m. in the Riverview Funeral Home 390 River Road Shelton. His funeral service will follow on Tuesday evening at 6:30 p.m. at the parlor. Offer condolences to his family at www.riverviewfh.com
