To Pat and Family: I am sad to hear of Rob's passing. Rob was a good childhood friend of mine; we grew up together in Wilton. There was always a twinkle in his eye and a grin on his face; what a wry sense of humor he had! Now seeing all he accomplished since childhood, I am impressed and humbled. He does and will continue to live with us in spirit, even after all these years. God bless you and your family through this hard time.

Dear Pat, David and Gina,
I knew Rob as a young man full of the joy of life and enthusiastic for all he undertook, be it work or golf or fishing. He loved his family above all and then his community and it was wonderful to see how he finally took up his love of teaching. He touched many many lives and will be missed by all those that knew him.
Deepest condolences for your loss.

Dear DeSimone family, I had Dr. D for homeroom and as a chemistry teacher. He was always very patient with his students and I admired him alot for that. Rarely, would you ever see him get mad. He honestly was a sweet and smart man and it is a shame that he passed so young. Mrs. DeSimone, Gina, and David, I am very sorry and I pray for you all.

Dear Pat And Family I met Robbie back when we were probably 5 or 6. I lived in an apartment building near his grandmothers house in Stamford Ct. He use to visit every so often on weekends and we became friends. By chance my parents moved to Wilton Ct and I connected with Robbie in school and were pretty good friends in grade school. As time went on we went in different paths but I always remember that great smile and friendly, and gentle demeanor, We will all miss him. Matthew Pingarron Milford Ct.

Though we only knew Rob/your dad casually as a neighbor, it was always a pleasure to bump into him for a chat out on the street or around town! His smile and wave will surely be missed as we drive by.
Our deepest sympathy,

Dear DeSimone family.
I can't find the words to express my feelings for your loss. Bob and Joyce, having a son myself, I cannot imagine your grief. Rob was such a man to be proud of not only to the family, but everyone who knew of him and his accomplishments. May he be at peace with God now.

Dear Doc's family,
I can honestly say that one of the sole reasons I am sitting here at RIT is because of Doc's ability to have a conversation with me as a friend and show me rather than tell me what I should do with my life. His calm and easily approachable attitute is what led me to ask him to sponsor the I.C.E. club and I will never forget the time he erupted in laughter when a member crashed the go-cart we rebuilt into a snowbank.(She was not harmed) Doc would always take time out of his schedule to humor me with my ideas even as recently as this past Thanksgiving when he skipped eating his bag lunch to show me the steps on how to patent a tool I designed while working the day before. He was proof to me that a gearhead fisherman could go through college and become succesful which inspires me everyday to go to class and get my work done. His words of wisdom, mad scientist laugh, and everything he has done for me, including the award winning college recomendation he wrote, will stay with me forever. I hope that one day I can be as cool and generous of a guy as he was.

Dear Desimone Family - I hadn't seen Rob since leaving Wilton High to go to school in Bethel. But Rob was one of my valued friends in elementary school and I remember playing over at the family home. The times we played Rob and his Mom gave me haven from a chaotic home of my own.

Dear Pat, Gina, and David,
I don't know where to start. Your husband and dad was a gifted man. A friend to all at Notre Dame. I remember all the times he'd come into Guidance and sit himself down on the couch and say, "ahh this is comfy, maybe I should just stay". He was always generous to me at Christmas time, spoiling me with chocolates... My heart is heavy with grief and saddness for all of you. I will continue to keep you all in my prayers and pray that your husband and dad holds a place in all of our hearts forever... With deepest sympathy and prayers,
