9 years ago today i was at work when i received a call that my sister had passed away. Second time in my life i lost a sister and to top it off i had to go home from work and tell our mother that she had lost a daughter for a second time. on that day my coworker and most importantly my FRIEND Bobby put his arm around me and just stood with me. He didnt have anything to say nor did I. there was nothing to say. but he put his arm around me and he stood with me until i gathered my composure. as our other coworkers arrived he took charge and told them what had happened and he helped me get on my way. That day he didnt have to say a word. One of the simplest gestures ive ever received in my life yet to this day, so impactful and such a gesture from one of the truest friends and people ive ever met. sometimes you dont have to say anything. sometimes its just the actions of being there. Ill never forget this day and ill never forget the friend and person Bobby was. He brought smiles to peoples faces and continues to do so long after his time here on earth.

Here at Teamsters Local 145, we are all shocked and saddened by the loss of our brother. Bob was a true friend and brother to many of his fellow members. Whether he was with us on the golf course or enjoying his special blend of music, memories of Bob will be treasured by all who knew him. He was full of life and laughter, never letting a day go to waste.
Our deepest sympathies, warmest condolences and prayers go out to his family.

To the Freiler family,
We worked with him way back when at Stop & Shop in Wilton. He always had us laughing, and even in a bad mood, he had a smile for everyone. Our condolences to the family. We will see Bobby in Heaven.
