Robert Komaromi Obituary

KOMAROMI Robert J. Komaromi Sr., age 71 of Bridgeport, beloved husband of the late Arlene L. Parmalee Komaromi, died Friday, July 6, 2007 at St. Vincent's Medical Center. Born in Fairfield, he lived most of his life in Bridgeport. Mr. Komaromi was retired from Textron-Lycoming and held memberships in the Teamsters Local 191 and U.A.W. Local 9096. While raising his sons, he was active in coaching with the North End Little League for 12 years. Survivors include his three devoted sons, Michael S. Komaromi and wife, Bobbi, of Seymour, Wayne Komaromi and wife, Charlene and Mark J. Komaromi and wife, Michelle, all of Bridgeport; a sister, Betty Yakubsin of Florida; nine grandchildren, James Brennan, Brian, Jeff, Kevin, Ashley, Lexi, Jesse, Mark Komaromi and Jaclynn Campos; great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was also predeceased by a daughter and son, Debra Komaromi and Robert J. Komaromi Jr. Friends may call Sunday, 4 to 8 p.m. in the Redgate-Hennessy Funeral Home, Main Street and Gorham Place, Trumbull with a prayer service to be held at 6 p.m. Interment will take place Tuesday at 11 a.m. in St. Michael's Cemetery, Stratford.

To the Komaromi Family:
Sorry to hear about your lost, not seeing Bob from across the street is going to be difficult to cope with. He was such a charming and wonderful man, as well as Arlene...they will be truely missed. We will all miss his humor and his laugh..If anything is needed feel free to come to the Ferrao household..Freddy is always there as well as my mother Evelyn..I wish I could have been there but due to my pregnancy I could not..With greatest sympathies, Marlene Ferrao
