To the Samperi Family Bob was the best person I ever meet. He had the heart of a giant, a love for everyone and so wanted to be there to help every wounded soul. I will love him forever until we meet again

You were one of the best friends i had as a kid, between sleepovers and the junior boys and boyscouts i have so many great memories with you. I was hoping to see you when i come to Ct. this summer to catch up and reminisce about the old days. R.I.P. buddy: see you on the other side.

How can I say goodbye to my closest childhood friend? I guess it is by saying thank you for being there, whether we were fighting or getting along great. I'm glad I was able to see you the last time I was back home, I hate that some of us are called to heaven, before the rest of us are ready to say good bye. Bobby, I will never forget you, or any of the stupid things that we did growing up. I still remember going with your mom to pick you up from preschool or waiting for you to get home so we could play. I'll miss you, but please save a seat at the dinner table for me in Valhalla, my friend. I would have never guessed that you would have made it there before me.
