This is very sad news, I worked with Bob over 25 years ago in Sikorsky at Shelton O&R location, He was my "Lead" and basically showed me the "ropes" of the department. when i took on the added responsibility of overseeing a warehouse in New Haven Bob would like to come along for the ride and just to get out on O&R for the day, he told our supervisor that he should come along because i was fairly new and just in case i needed some assistance lol and we would have some of the funniest conversations on the ride there and we would go to a place called Lou's diner for lunch and many of times he would pay for lunch (again thank you bob). Also, he was one of the hardest workers I have ever known, back then he also had a part-time job (papers) and he would do that BEFORE coming into work at Sikorsky and i would just be amazed at how dedicated he was to provide for his family. I have always missed our conversations. My prayers go out you your family during this time, it was a pleasure knowing you and thank you for all the good times we had at Sikorsky. Rest easy my friend..... God Speed

I always enjoyed talking with Bob, from my days of working in the cafe when I first meet him to when I got a job in the machine shop in Shelton. You will be missed. "Hey Bob is it Friday yet"
