Sharon Marie Barrett (Legge) passed away unexpectedly in her home on February 20, 2017 in Middletown, CT at the age of 61. Born on November 13, 1955 in Middletown, CT, she was the daughter of the late John and Sandra (Dorman) Legge. Sharon raised her family in Trumbull, where she enjoyed being actively involved in all facets of her sons' lives. She was a loving mother, who along with her former husband Michael Barrett took great pride in seeing her sons succeed and thrive. Sharon was preceded in death by her brother Richard Legge of Middletown, CT. Sharon is survived by her son Sean Barrett and daughter-in-law Anne Marie of Milford, CT and her son Brian Barrett of Stratford, CT. She will be fondly remembered by her brother Gerald Legge of Middletown; her sister Theresa (Legge) Fairchild and brother-in-law Mark and their children Meg and Lauren of Durham; her brother Joseph Legge and sister-in-law Suzanne and their children John and Ryan of Middlefield; her niece and nephew Jacki and Jason and her former husband, Michael Barrett of Fairfield. In keeping with the wishes of Sharon, her memorial service will be private and will be at a later date.
