Sharon Weisman Obituary
Sharon Weisman, age 29 of Trumbull, passed away on Wednesday, September 5, 2012 in her home with her family at her side. Sharon, daughter of Dr. Benjamin and Svetlana Weisman, was born in Bridgeport. In addition to her devoted parents, Sharon is survived by her cherished brothers, Brian and David Weisman, David's wife Megan, adoring grandparents, Roza and Matvia Tesliar, beloved uncle, Akiva Tessler, aunt, Eva Goldman and her husband Isaac, and by many loving cousins. Sharon is predeceased by her grandparents, Shifra and Denih Weisman. Sharon's family wishes to thank Margo Conti, a case worker from the Department of Mental Retardation, Stacey Canale, Robin Smelter, Helen Alvarez and Susan Jackson, all therapists from the Volunteers of America, and a special thank you to Milada who cared for her 24/7 as if she were her own granddaughter. The family would like to thank the numerous physicians that visited Sharon over the years and provided care at her home. Services will take place on Friday, September 7, 2012 at 11:00 AM in The Abraham L. Green and Son Funeral Home 88 Beach Road in Fairfield, followed by Loyalty Cemetery on Burroughs Road. Memorial contributions may be made to United Cerebral Palsy www.ucp.org. Shiva will be observed at the Weisman Residence in Trumbull.
