Stephen Kuhar

KUHAR Stephen Kuhar entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, August 9, 2005, at Northbridge Health Care Center, Bridgeport. Mr. Kuhar was born in Krivany, Czechoslovakia on July 24, 1912 and had been a lifelong Stratford resident. For many years he worked at Remington Arms in Bridgeport, retiring in 1975. Steve was known for his two passions, gardening and golf, both of which he excelled at. He was predeceased by two brothers, Andrew and Michael. He will be sadly missed by his nieces and nephews; Robert Kuhar and his wife, Carol, of Milford, Cynthia Karcich and her husband, Andrew, of Calabash, N.C., Thomas Kuhar and his wife, Maureen, of Stratford, Andrea Hodska and her husband, Jim, of Stratford, Michelle Andel and her husband, Jack, of Hopkinton, Mass., Stephanie Deering of Ohio, and Peggy Marino and her husband, Bob, of Stratford. Friends and family are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, August 13, 2005, at 10 a.m. in Holy Name of Jesus Church, 1950 Barnum Avenue, Stratford. Interment will be in St. John's Cemetery Stratford. At the family's request calling hours have been omitted.
