Steven Finger Obituary

Steven D. Finger
Steven D. Finger, age 66, beloved husband of Linda Kisken Finger, passed away on Sunday, March 28, 2021 at his home in Trumbull, CT. Born in Schenectady, New York on December 25, 1954, he was the son of the late Burton and Ferne (Lester) Finger and was a longtime resident of Trumbull.
More than anything, Steve enjoyed spending time with Linda, his wife of 36 years, and his three troublemaking sons, David, Scott (and his wife, Elisabeth), and Brian. Steve had a passion for sports, which he enjoyed with his family, and cheered hard (even when they were lousy) for the NY Yankees, NY Rangers, and NY Giants. For 30 years, he faithfully served and led Trumbull Little League, where he strived to make baseball more enjoyable and fair for youth athletes. Steve worked in the IT and computing field, most recently serving as Managing Director for Carrubba, Inc. Steve's other hobbies included Kung Fu, Chinese food, and bad disaster movies.
In addition to his beloved wife and three sons, remaining family includes his three sisters, Gail Finger, Annette Scheuer, and Lisa Temkin, as well as several nieces and nephews. He also had many close friends. As his family knows (especially his wife and children), Steve had a lively sense of humor and a deeply caring personality. He will be missed by everyone who knew him.
Friends are invited to meet directly in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 1056 Daniels Farm Rd., Trumbull on Thursday, April 1, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. for a graveside committal service. There will be no calling hours. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to Trumbull Little League, P.O. Box 241, Trumbull, CT 06611. To leave an online condolence, visit us at www.abriola.com.

I always enjoyed catching up with Steve at Omnis events over the years. We did some work together in the late 90s, but every time we saw each other it was like no time had passed since our previous meeting. Steve was a great man who loved his family. Deepest condolences to Linda & sons.
