Theresa Pace Obituary

PACE Theresa (Terry) Mentana Pace, age 78, of Trumbull, died on Saturday, May 21, 2005, at St. Vincent's Medical Center, Bridgeport. Born in Bronx, N.Y., she was the daughter of the late Charles and Rose Gatto Mentana, and was a Trumbull resident over 45 years. Mrs. Pace formerly worked as a secretary for Y & O Coal Co., J.C. Bradley Insurance Co., and Acme United Corporation. She was an avid reader, and enjoyed playing cards with friends and family. Mrs. Pace was a die hard Yankee fan, and will be remembered as a very generous and compassionate person. She was predeceased by her husband, Michael F. Pace; and two brothers, Enzo and Mario Mentana. Survivors include a daughter, Michele Hofbauer, and her husband, John, of Trumbull; her grandson, Michael; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will take place on Tuesday, May 24, 2005, at 9 a.m from the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 10 a.m. in St. Theresa Church, Trumbull, for a Mass of Christian Burial. Entombment will follow in St. Michael Cemetery Chapel Mausoleum, Stratford. Friends may call on Monday, May 23, 2005, from 4 to 8 p.m. To light a virtual candle, visit us at www.abriola.com.
