Thomas Tenney Obituary

TENNEY Thomas F. Tenney, age 70, of Ansonia beloved companion of Ann Butler, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, March 29, 2006. Born in Trumbull on April 21, 1935, he was the son of the late Frederick and Elsie Abbotts Tenney. Tom graduated from Bullard Havens Technical School and worked a number of years for Sikorsky Aircraft in Stratford, followed by several jobs related to electrical component distribution. Despite physical challenges, Tom always maintained an unwavering positive attitude and good nature. He loved landscape photography and took great joy in the simple pleasures of life. He will always be remembered for his keen wit and kind mannerism. He is survived by his sister, Carol Monsanto of Arizona; brothers, Robert Tenney of Maine and Alan Tenney and his wife, Lena, of Easton; and several nieces and nephews. The Edward F. Adzima Funeral Home, Derby have been entrusted with the funeral arrangements which will be private and at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Connecticut Children's Medical Center of Newington.

Carol and Don. I am sorry to read of your loss of Tom he was a good guy and we had lots of fun at BHT and the trumbull food market.I graduated from BHT with Tom and I worked with him and Don at the trumbull food market. my prayers and sympathy go out to all the family Bill McKane
