Valerie Ronson Maxwell
August 9, 1948 - May 15, 2025
Valerie Ronson Maxwell, 76, of Arlington, MA, died on May 15, 2025, in Winchester Hospital, Winchester, MA., with her loving family beside her. She had undergone major surgery for a sudden, acute illness.
Born in Baldwin, Long Island, NY, she attended Baldwin High School until her family moved to Trumbull, CT in her youth. She was a 1966 graduate of Trumbull High School. Valerie graduated from Southern Connecticut State University and enjoyed an early career as a teacher before becoming a stockbroker and financial consultant for White Weld and then E.F. Hutton.
Valerie was an avid reader, traveler, food connoisseur and cook, with a keen interest in music, art, gardening and enjoyed entertaining a wide circle of friends and family. Valerie was particularly active and supportive in several community organizations.
Immediate survivors include her husband, J.B., stepdaughter, Jennifer, son-in-law, Jody and grandson, Joshua, a brother, Craig, a sister, Wendy, and 4 nieces, 1 nephew, 5 grandnieces and 2 grandnephews.
A Celebration of Valerie's Life will be held at a later date.

I only have known Valerie for a couple of years through the Arlington Garden Club but, I could see that Valerie was full of a zest for life and loved to be involved with her family and friends.
