Veronica Mach Obituary

MACH Veronica A. (Targonski) Mach, age 94 of Stratford, beloved wife of 60 years to the late Anthony J. Mach Sr., died peacefully Friday, March 13, 2009. Born in Philadelphia, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Stanislaw and Maria Maik Targonski. A resident of Stratford since 1952, she was devoted to her family who was the center of her life. A religious lady and member of St. Michael's Church, she was a member of its Ladies Guild. A kind a gentle lady, she will be missed by all whose lives she touched. Survivors include her son, Anthony Mach Jr. of State College, Pa.; a devoted daughter, Maria Mach Aleksiejczuk and husband, Gregory of Oxford; a hand picked daughter, Ruth Ann Pace of Monroe; five grandchildren, Edward A. Mach, Christian and his wife, Joasia, Peter and Molly Mach and Michael Paul Coombs; three great-grandchildren, Jeffery and Maria Mach and Michael Paul Coombs; two sisters, Wanda Konopka and husband, Waclaw and Fenia and her husband, Wetek Bohan all of Poland; a brother, Wencek Targonski and wife, Irena of Poland; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son, Edward Mach. Friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial, Tuesday at 10 a.m. in St. Michael the Archangel Church, followed by interment in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull. Calling hours are Monday from 3 to 7 p.m. in the Frank M. Radozycki and Sons Funeral Home, 305 Pulaski Street, Bridgeport (Directly across form St. Michael the Archangel Church).
