To Gail (Mom), Cyndi, and Billy:
Wendy was a great friend to me. I loved her as much as family, so you are all my family. My thoughts are with you all.
To Sir Gabe:
I don't need to tell you how special your Mommy was because you already know. I will tell you that you are just as special your Mommy and I love you.
To Wendy:
You were my friend. You were my sister. You were my inner peace and positivity. I will miss everything about you (even how much you loved the Patriots and KISS and milk in your tea!) You will always be my Bendy and the Crunch to my Munch. I miss you so much, my friend.

My heart goes out to Gabe and all of Wendy's family & close friends.

I'll always remember Wendy for many reasons. She was a tremendously dedicated and devoted mother to her son. They had a very strong bond and a close and loving relationship. Her life was dedicated to the well-being of her son.

She was a devoted daughter and spoke of how much she cared and loved her mother often.

She was an avid football fan . She would wear her New England Patriot's jersey and excitedly share exchanges back and forth via text with her son while he was over our house about plays during the football games. She also liked to play Monopoly and she played a game of it with Gabe and my son. She was a great cook! She made really good brownies and made "Monkey Bread" while my son was over the house. He liked it. :-) She was always sharing recipes with me, and I admired her cooking skills.

She was a very down to earth person and told it like it is. She was hard working, and always willing to help someone in need. She would help her neighbors and others with house and yard work. She loved her dog - I believe his name is Buddy.

She was truly a caring person that was there for anyone she could help.

Again, I'm so sorry for the loss and the void it will inevitably leave her beloved son, family and friends. However, She will always be close to those who love and miss her in their hearts and minds, and all loved ones will be reunited in the future.

Wendy was a wonderful neighbor and a welcome member of "our end of the block" on Parkway Drive here in Trumbull. Wendy was truly a devoted Mother and a kind and helpful individual. She kept a most tidy home and yard all by herself. She has raised a strong son, Gabe who stands out as a individual that is also gentle, kind, strong and helpful. Gabe fit right in and right away with any of the children playing on our block. He was always kind to my golden retriever dog Reeba who died in 2011. This is such a family that adds so much meaning to a neighborhood in that Wendy often helped other neighbors with home projects and we will all miss her gift of presence and upbeat composure. She was a very nice lady and will be sorely missed. My condolences to Gabe and to her extended family. From your neighbor, Ann Caldwell (Unfortunately, I will miss your funeral as I am taking a college course out of state and leaving Thursday Night -Sunday but, I do have something special for Gabe and hopefully I can get a forwarding address from a neighbor for his grandmother.)

Wendy,
I'm going to miss talking with you on Facebook, and like our previous jokes we made about raking the leaves last fall and comparing our piles on there.... I wish I got to see you more after you left (former) Emhart Teknologies - Shelton. :( You were my smoking buddy, a great listener and such a fun person, even when the chips were down in life.

Gabe - I know your Mom loved you with all her heart, she always talked about you when we were at work. She'll always be with you in your heart.

My deepest condolences to the family and ALL that had the pleasure of knowing her. RIP Wendy
