William J. Meuser

MEUSER William J. Meuser, age 80 of Orlando, Fla., passed away Sunday, August 3, 2008. He was born December 28, 1927 in Stratford. Mr. Meuser was a World War II Navy veteran. He was a graduate of Fordham Law School and was a practicing lawyer in Connecticut and Florida until he recently became ill. Mr. Meuser was an active member of St. John Vianney Catholic Church. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and American Legion. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Patricia Link Meuser; son, William G. Meuser; and sister, Ann Walker. Survivors include his wife of 21 years, Dora Meuser; daughter, Marianne Judith Croft; stepchildren, William and Deborah Triller; brothers, Joseph and John Meuser; sisters, Mary Ellen Adams and Joan Dwyer; and two grandchildren. Visitation will be held Wednesday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, 6200 S. Orange Blossom Trail, Orlando. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, August 7, 2008 at 10 a.m. at the church. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Gotha, Fla.
