William Wolf Obituary

Wolf , William Sr.
William Donald Wolf Sr., age 72 of Milford passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 26, 2015 at the West Haven Veterans Medical Center. Born in Bridgeport on September 21, 1942, he was a son of the late Ernest and Dorothy Maurer Wolf. Bill served proudly with the US Navy Submarine Force from 1966-1970.He was a self employed painter and a member of the American Legion Post 196 in Milford, Ct. He is survived by his children; William Wolf, Jason Korchman, Stacey Stuart all of Milford and Billie Perrone of Galveston Tx. He is also survived by his sister Carol Wolf and grandchildren; AJ Stuart, Ryan Stuart , Mason Stuart and Matthew Korchman.He also leaves behind nephew and nieces; Scott Wolf, Jen Burnham, Lindsay Burnham, and Bethany Burnham. Service in his memory will be held 1pm-4pm Saturday September 5th at The American Legion Post 196 located 25 Merwin Avenue in Milford, Ct.In lieu of flowers donations in his memory may be made to the West Haven Veterans Medical Center.

To the Wolf Family,

On behalf of the Charleston Base SUBVETS and Swamp Fox Chapter SUBVETS WWII, I offer you our sincere condolences on Williams' passing. We grieve with you on the loss of your loved one and all SUBVETS and their families have your family in our thoughts and prayers. There is no expiration date on the back of our dolphins and William will always be remembered as a Brother of the Phin and a great Patriot.
