Aaron M. Hock, 24, of 406 Ridge Road, Shippensburg, died Sunday, July 13, 2008, in the Milton S. Hershey Medical Center of injuries received in a motorcycle accident Thursday, July 10, in North Newton Township.
Born March 23, 1984, in Red Lion, he was a son of Douglas E. and Kathy Swartz Hock of Shippensburg.
Aaron was a 2002 graduate of Shippensburg Area Senior High School, where he was enrolled in the welding program at the Franklin County Career and Technology Center. He was employed by Andersen Logistics, Carlisle.
Aaron also enjoyed hunting, fishing, four-wheeling, and 3-D archery shoots.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by a brother, Daniel R. Hock of Shippensburg; a sister, Laura H. (and husband, Jared) Gastrock of Woodbridge, Va.; maternal grandparents, Kenneth and Virginia Swartz of Shippensburg; paternal grandparents, Ralph and Sylvia Hock of Shippensburg; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Lois Hock.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, in the Green Spring Brethren in Christ Church. The Rev. Terry A. Burton will officiate. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, in the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home, 112 W. King St., Shippensburg.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Milton S. Hershey Medical Center, 500 University Drive, Hershey, PA 17033.
