Dixie Jumper Obituary

Dixie Belle Jumper of Carlisle passed away on August 15, 2025 at home surrounded by her family. She was born in Carlisle on December 4, 1934 to the late Floyd E. and Romaine Bolen Stone.

Dixie followed in her mother's footsteps by attending Joan Lee Beauty School. She worked many years as a beautician. Dixie liked to bowl and often teamed with her husband in the mixed league at Midway.

Dixie was preceded in death by her husband of 70 years, Simon. She is survived by her sons: Robert (Barbara) of Carlisle, Michael (Sondra) of Boiling Springs and Jeffrey (Monica) of Gilbert, Arizona; 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

The family is deeply indebted to the staff of Synergy Home Care for providing 24/7 care and Residential Hospice Care to allow them to honor Dixie's wishes to pass at home. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Cremation Society of Pennsylvania.
