Born Aug. 13, 1913, in Mercersburg, she was a daughter of the late Milton A. Eshelman and Fannie Mae (Keller) Eshelman. She was the widow of Russell L. Mackey, who died Feb. 20, 1998.
She worked for more than 20 years at the former Carlisle Shoe Factory and had also worked at the former Blough and Wagner Garment Factory.
She was a member of St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Carlisle, where she helped to make the peanut butter eggs for Easter. She enjoyed quilting, gardening and cooking.
Mrs. Mackey is survived by a son, Donald E. Mackey of Carlisle; a daughter, Doris F. Keiter of Newville; a brother, Garnett Eshelman of Mercersburg; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a grandson, Donald E. Mackey Jr.; a sister, Grace Stalliper; and four brothers, Merle Eshelman, Nelson Eshelman, Raymond Eshelman and Paul Eshelman.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday in Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, 630 South Hanover St., Carlisle, with the Rev. Richard A. Ruff officiating. Burial will be in Westminster Memorial Gardens, Carlisle.
Friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.
