Frederick Cornman Obituary
October 7, 1936 - February 28, 2025
Frederick Lee Cornman, 88, of Newville passed away Friday, February 28, 2025 in his home.
He was born October 7, 1936 in Carlisle a son of Ray Sylvester and Mary Arlene Boyd Cornman. He was also a stepson to Jetta Dorothy Clark Cornman.
Fred had worked at Carlisle Tire and Wheel for 33 years. He had belonged to the Green Spring First Church of God. He enjoyed tractors, and being around his family.
He is survived by five children, Kevin Cornman and his wife, Tammy, Joey Cornman and his wife, Donna, Andrew Cornman and his wife, Michelle, Rebecca Keck and her husband, Joseph, and Eric Cornman and his wife, Kelsey; nine grandchildren, Colten, Hannah, Cody, Wyatt, Garrett, Megan, Logan, Adam, and Kole; seven great-grandchildren, Kane, Lacy, Drew, Landon, Gannon, Krew, and Ivey; two sisters, Martha Motter, and Sandra Broadwater; and one stepsister, Margaret Zettlemoyer.
He was preceded in death by one son, Jeffrey Cornman; five brothers, Richard Cornman, Charles Cornman, Roger Cornman, Kenneth Cornman, and Lester Cornman; and seven sisters, Lois Meals, Brenda Luttrell, Karen Myers, Judith Dillman, Cathy Fortini, Patricia Sigfried, and Susan Wright.
A visitation will be held Friday, March 7, 2025 from 1 to 2 p.m. in the Egger Funeral Home Inc. 15 W. Big Spring Ave. Newville. A funeral service with Pastor Don Snyder officiating will follow the visitation at 2 p.m. Burial will follow in the Newville, Cemetery.
