James Smee Obituary

Born Jan. 15, 1937, in Newport, he was the son of the late Donald H. and Thelma P. Beers Smee.

He was a graduate of Penn State and a Navy veteran. He was a retired school bus driver for the West Shore School District, a former York County Justice of the Peace, a former Little League umpire, and a former referee for flag football at City Island, Harrisburg.

Mr. Smee is survived by his wife of 46 years, Cora B. Wiley Smee; one son, Brian A. Smee of Wellsville; one daughter, Beth A. Hotovcin of Carlisle; one sister, Donna J. Baitsell of Mechanicsburg; and five grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one daughter, Jacqueline E. Smee.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Cocklin Funeral Home, 30 N. Chestnut St., Dillsburg. Burial will be at Suburban Memorial Gardens, Dover.

Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
