Lisa Jo "Wit" Wyrick, 45, of Shippensburg died Sunday, Jan. 2, 2011, at home.
Born July 4, 1965, in Chambersburg, she was a daughter of Robert E. and Darlene M. Baughman Wyrick of Shippensburg.
She volunteered at Mt. Rock Day Care for more than seven years and prior to that volunteered at Wilson College, Archives at Shippensburg University and with children at the Shippensburg Public Library.
Lisa was a member of Messiah United Methodist Church and most recently attended the First Assembly of God Church in Shippensburg. She was a 1984 graduate of the Shippensburg Area Senior School, where she was past treasurer of FHA. Lisa was a member of Senior Citizens Group 1 in Orrstown.
She enjoyed yard sales, bingo, shopping, word search puzzles, attending sporting events of both her niece and nephew, loved her dog Gunner and collected porcelain dolls and Boyds Bears.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by two brothers, Timothy E. Wyrick and his wife Chris of Shippensburg, and Kevin L. Wyrick and his wife Jenel of Orrstown; a nephew and a niece, Hunter C. and Hannah J. Wyrick, both of Shippensburg; and her paternal grandmother, Joyce E. Wyrick of Shippensburg.
Lisa was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Robert P. Wyrick; maternal grandparents, John H. and Cora B. Holtry Baughman; and her beloved dog, Thunder.
Funeral services will be held Friday at Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home Inc., Shippensburg, at 2 p.m. Officiating will be the Rev. Daniel E. Cluck. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery. A viewing will be held Thursday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
