Roger Horton Obituary
Mr. Horton was born in Carlisle on Feb. 6, 1953, and was the son of the late Ernest Horton and Iva Jane (Long) Horton.
He was employed by NADEP.
He is survived by a son, Roger Lee Horton Jr. of Houston, Texas; a daughter, Melissa Horton of Harrisburg; his mother, Iva Jane Horton; two brothers, Wayne Horton of Florida and Barry, husband of Jennifer Horton of Mechanicsburg.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 20, at 11 a.m. at Myers Funeral Home, 37 E. Main St., Mechanicsburg, with the Rev. William H. Sechrist officiating. Burial will be in Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens. There will be a visitation on Wednesday, from 10-11 a.m. in the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Kidney Foundation of Central Pennsylvania, Olde Liberty Square, Suite 101, Harrisburg, PA 17109.
