Armando Martinez Obituary
Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. today (May 8) at Denton-Wood Funeral Home. Funeral services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 9, 2012, at Denton-Wood Funeral Home Chapel with Randy Elmore officiating. Interment will follow in Santa Catarina Cemetery, Carlsbad, N.M. Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Mando enjoyed fishing and camping. He will be greatly missed by all of his family. He was preceded in death by his brothers: Steve "Crazyhorse" Martinez and Fernando Martinez.
Survivors are three sons: Ivan Manuel Martinez, Anthony "Fish" Martinez and Gerome Martinez, all of Oregon; one daughter; six grandchildren; parents: Manuel and Josephina Martinez of Carlsbad, N.M.; five sisters: Belen Lujan and husband, Cecil of Hobbs, N.M., Alicia Potts of Carlsbad, N.M., Corina Cordova of Carlsbad, N.M., Faye Cashman of Utica, N.Y., Belinda Colorado of Carlsbad, N.M.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Delfin Hinojos, Jimmy Bailey, Oscar Colorado Jr., Eric Cordova, Ray Martinez and Ivan Colorado.
