Xavier Salcido Obituary
There will be no public visitation, cremation will take place.
A Memorial Service is scheduled for Wednesday, November 4, 2015, 10:00 AM, at Walter Gerrells Performing Arts Center, 4012 National Parks Highway with Rev. David Rogers officiating.
Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Xavier "Xava" Salcido was born August 19, 1977 in Carlsbad, New Mexico to Nicholas G. and Lydia (Franco) Salcido. He graduated from Carlsbad High School in 1995. Xava married Melissa Puckett on February 29, 2012. He has owned and operated X-treme Security for many years. Most recently Xava was working for the City at the Municipal Golf Course. He was always the life of the party and never met a stranger. He was preceded in death by his father, Nicholas G. Salcido and father-in-law, Joseph Puckett.
Survivors are his wife, Melissa "Missy" Salcido of Carlsbad, NM; daughters: Iesha Puckett, Precious Salcido; sons: Xavier "Chacho" Salcido, Xachary Salcido, Xandir "Bubba" Salcido; mother, Lydia F. Salcido of Carlsbad, NM; siblings: Anthony "Tony" Salcido, Pamela Romero, Nicholas "Nick" Salcido, Jr. father and mother-in-law, Fred and Laurie King and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and his X-treme family.
Honorary pallbearers will be X-treme Brothers,
