Laurie Rudnick Obituary
Laurie Ann Wilson was born Nov. 21, 1967 to Alta (Wilson) and Clark Wilson. In 1972, her mother married Merl "Buzz" Kettleborough.
The family lived in Taylor where she was raised with her five brothers and one sister. Laurie was a 1986 graduate of Loup County Public Schools.
In April of 1987, Laurie married Patrick Rudnick and together they had three sons - Heath, Riley and Jerod. After a tragic accident that took her younger brother Randy, Laurie was given full custody of her nephew Cody Wilson.
During the years of raising the boys Laurie enjoyed crocheting and keeping a neat home and tidy outdoor space. She loved to listen to country music, converse with family and collect dream catchers, horses and Indian decor.
In the recent years prior to her passing Laurie took great pride in being her father (Buzz) full time caretaker. Laurie will be remembered for her kind and quiet disposition.
Laurie is survived by her sons Heath (Shauna) Rudnick of Ainsworth, Riley and significant other Brooke of Ainsworth and Jerod (Jamie) Rudnick of Elkorn and Cody Wilson of Sargent; father Merl "Buzz" Kettleborough of Sargent; four grandchildren Braylin, Robert, Braeyden and Rylen; and siblings Robbie (Cindy) Wilson of Kearney, Daisey Jackson, John (Brenda) Kettleborough of Sargent, Tim (Julie) Kettleborough of Hastings and Casey Kettleborough of Yankton, S.D.
Laurie was preceded in death by her mother Alta; and brother Randy.
Funeral services will be Thursday, June 23 at 2 p.m. in the Taylor Events Center in Taylor with Reverend Don Schauda officiating. Inurnment will be in the Taylor Cemetery.
Memorials in lieu of flowers may be made to her sons for expenses.

Sorry for your loss! I didn’t know Laurie well, but I remember that she traveled with us to Washington, DC when Riley and a few of his classmates qualified for the National History Day contest. It was Laurie’s first time flying in an airplane. I enjoyed spending time getting to know her and the other parents on the trip.
