I just heard/read about the passing of Mrs. Sampy (Pat) today (10/28/23).
My sincere sympathy of the passing of her. She was my go to person for comfort and understanding when I was a Senior (1972) in Ansley. And for years afterwards, I still treasured her more that words can express.
Many thoughts and prayers go out to Mr. Sampy (Dale), her children & grandchildren. She will be missed by all those who knew and came to love her. She was a lovely lady inside and out.

Pat and her husband Dale were so kind and helpful to me when I started my teaching career at Ansley. I will always have wonderful memories of these two of because of their generosity and good advice. Pat was wonderful educator and even better friend. May God bless Dale and the entire Sampy family during this most difficult of times. I know this family will take comfort and pride in the remarkable life and career Pat lived. May perpetual light shine upon her and the Lord's blessing be with everyone.

Dear Dale, Teresa, and Steve
I just read of Pat’s passing on an Ansley reunion web site. I hope your many wonderful family memories will be a great comfort to you all. Becky and I so enjoyed our short time in Ansley and have lots of memories of get togethers at your hose following football games. Pat was a great hostess and always so welcoming.
