Edward Herrington Obituary
Born Nov. 24, 1929 in Harrison County to the late Elzie Erman and Dora Heinrich Herrington, he was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War, a retired employee of IBM, member of VFW Post 4075 in Frankfort, member of Cynthiana Rotary Club an avid UK fan and member of Cynthiana First United Methodist Church.
Additional survivors include a son, David A. Herrington of Shelbyville, Ind.; a daughter, Susan Naziripour of Florence, Ky.; and two grandchildren, Camran and Mariam Naziripour.
Also preceding him in death were two sisters, Mildred Herrington and Ruby Herrington Sims, and two brothers, Woodrow and Jim Herrington.
Services were held Monday, Nov. 28 at Drake-Whaley-McCarty Funeral Home by Dr. Ted Beam and Dean Davis. Burial with military honors followed in Battle Grove Cemetery.
