Gladys Howard Obituary
She was a good faithful Christian woman and recently her and one of the residents were having bible study together at the nursing home. She was an avid card player, and always won. She loved gardening, shopping, going out to eat and getting together with her family.
Besides her parents, she is proceeded in death by four brothers, Stanley Lee Barnes, Marvin New Barnes, Audrey Redd Barnes, Kenneth Thomas Barnes; two sisters, Adalene Rowland, Viola Marie Milner.
She is survived by two sons, Terry Parker (Debbie) Howard, Obie Jay (Teresa) Howard; one daughter, Susie (Ernest) Case; 15 grandchildren, Barry Case, Mike (Layne) Case, Kevin (Gina) Case, Eric Case, Bradley Case, Rachel (Shawn) Rainwater, Stephanie (Cody) Strong, Victoria (Jennifer) Kougios, Ashley (Kyle) Edwards, Kim (Robert) Underwood, Jackie (Chuck) Fiscus, Teresa (Dave) Messer, Chris (Tim) Hill, David Howard, Amber Miller; and several great- grandchildren, stepchildren, step grandchildren, and step great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 23 at 1 p.m. with Pastor Wayne Guilliams officiating. Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. until the time of service at Ware Funeral Home. A private burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
