Ruby Ashby Obituary
She was born Aug. 8, 1931 in Coburn, Va., to the late Cleveland and Nettie Helen Robinson Stanley. She was the widow of the late John C. Ashby and was preceded in death by two daughters, Letta Ashby and Nettie Ashby and two sons, Roger Ashby and Johnny Ashby.
She is survived by nine children, Ronnie D. Ashby, Brenda J. Wampler, Betty J. Packwood, Clarence R. Ashby, Jeffrey W. Ashby, Jack L. Ashby, Rita K. Heyser, Loretta F. Shepherd and Barbara A. Blackburn; 13 grandchildren, Daniel Blackburn, Rebekah Blackburn, Ashley Lakes, Rachel Shepherd, Abigail Ashby, Mark Wampler, Ronnie Ashby Jr., Jason Ashby, Lee Edward Polly, Christopher Polly, Trinity Ashby, Ethan Ashby, Jon Brumagen, Brittany Ashby and Rocky Ashby; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Aug. 3 at 1 p.m. at Ware Funeral Home, 846 US Hwy 27 N, Cynthiana, KY with visitation at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Pythian Grove Cemetery, Berry, Ky.
Memorial contributions may be made to Cedar Ridge Health Campus or Boyd United Methodist Church.

So sorry Jeff,Jack,Rita,Loretta, Barbara and the rest. I still think about yall all the time. Great memories of this family!Your mom was head and shoulders above the rest!She always welcomed me into her home even though she knew I was up to no good. She had to endure many heartaches in this life and now she`s resting in the glory of the King of Kings! God sent His angel escort to bring her home just in time for her birthday! John 16:33!!!
