Addie Williams, 75, of Sycamore, Illinois, passed away Thursday, June 12, 2025, at Northwestern Kishwaukee Hospital in DeKalb.
She was born June 18, 1949, in Calhoun, GA, the daughter of James and Mattie (Swafford) Joyner.
Addie was employed at Motorola in Schaumburg for over 30 years prior to retirement in 2006. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Addie was an avid Elvis fan since she was five years old.
She is survived by her daughter Tracy (Paul) Roberts of Maple Park; her son Kyle Williams of Sycamore; her grandson Michael (Erin) Strasburg of Woodstock; her great-grandson Spencer James; her brother Jerry Joyner of Montgomery; also her nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother James D. Joyner and three nephews.
The Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, June 20, 2025, at Anderson Funeral Home in DeKalb with Rev. Dennis Campbell officiating. Burial will follow at North Clinton Cemetery in Waterman.
Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Thursday, June 19, 2025, at Anderson Funeral Home in DeKalb.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Williams Family in care of Anderson Funeral Home, P.O. Box 605, 2011 South Fourth Street, DeKalb, IL 60115.

I called Annie this am to wish her a happy B-day! No VM, so I emailed her as well. And decided to google her name and sadly found out that she passed away 6 days ago! Sad for family, comforted that Annie is with her Lord and Savior and out of pain and suffering! I will miss you girl! Love Miss G
