Born: August 3, 1949 in DeKalb, IL
Died: October 5, 2025 in DeKalb, IL
Age 76 of DeKalb, IL, died on Sunday, October 5, 2025, at Northwestern Medicine Kishwaukee Hospital in DeKalb. She was born on August 3, 1949, in DeKalb, IL, and was the daughter of John and Marion (Mueller) Fredrickson.
Bonnie was a very loving and outgoing person, and that showed through her many years working at Northern Illinois University in the Food Service Department. She then devoted her skills of making food for the residents at Pine Acres Nursing Home in DeKalb. Bonnie was a member of the First United Methodist Church in DeKalb. Bonnie was married to the late Maurice Sherrill, and later she was married to the late John Langley.
Survivors include; daughter, Melissa (George) Misailidis of Meridan, ID, sisters: Linda Fredrickson of DeKalb, Vicki Schinke of Sterling, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by; her parents, husbands: Maurice and John, sisters; Becky Jones, Sharon Reed, Nancy Rodriguez, and brothers; Dennis, Tom, and James.
A celebration of Life will be announced at a later date. Cremation will be entrusted to Finch Crematory. Arrangements were entrusted to: Finch Funeral Home 310 Oak St. DeKalb, IL 60115 (815)758-3841.
