David "Bubba" H. Foltz, 66, passed away Wednesday, January 12, 2022 at his home in DeKalb, Illinois. David was born on November 18, 1955 to Cecil E. and Artie V. (Williams) Foltz in Rochelle, IL. On December 14, 1984, he married Donna Sue Gaul in Rochelle.
In his younger years, he was an avid golfer and in his later years took up fishing. David touched many lives. He could talk to anyone and enjoyed sharing a joke or two with those who crossed his path. He could elicit a smile from even the toughest of "cookies" and was always willing to lend a helping hand.
David is survived by his wife, Donna of DeKalb; daughter, Cassie (Matt Pena) Craft of DeKalb; grandson, Austin (Morgan Albertsen) Eggleston; brother, Ed Foltz of Rochelle; sister-in-law, Judy Foltz and many nieces and nephews including special nephew, Dalton Gaul.
In addition to his parents, David was preceded in death by his brother, Donald "Frog" Foltz in 2016.
The visitation will be from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M. Monday, January 17, 2022 at the Unger-Horner Funeral Home, 400 N. 6th St., Rochelle. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, January 18 at the funeral home with Chaplain Reginald Sey officiating. Memorial will be established. Cremation care will be provided after the service.
