What a guy! Just saw him at my father's wake a few years ago. With that smile, I don't think he ever aged. He was my eye doctor 45 over years ago. Not one doctor since could compare, what a jewel. Thank you for sharing him with us. Many Blessings to you the families. Sincerely, Susan Japuntich Huether

Steve, I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your father. He was a wonderful man. For the past 37 years your father and you have taken care of my eyesight and now my daughters as well. We have all lost a great man, but he has left behind a great son who has followed in his footsteps. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this difficult time.

Judd was a wonderful person who will be missed for many reasons. Let`s also not forget that as a young man he put his life on the line in combat as a WWII aviator for the U.S. Navy. People like Judd have let us live happily in that Home of the Free.

I was a patient of Dr. Storey's many years ago. I always looked forward to my appointments because he would show his vacation pictures. He introduced me to the Chicago to Mackinac race and inspired me to go to Mackinac Island. He was such a kind man. My condolences to his family.

I was a long time patient of Judd Storey. He went out of his way to help me see. One 4th of July, I lost a contact lens and he offered to open up his office to find something that would work for me until regular office hours were operating.
In 1970, he had the difficult task of telling me that I had RP and would probably go blind some day. He was very compassionate and made every effort to maintain my vision as it deteriorated.
I was then blessed to have his son, Stephen, follow in his footsteps with his kind and dedicated care over the years.
I'm sure Judd Storey made a huge difference in many lives through his profession. I will always remember him with high esteem.

I am in total disbelief that our dear friend is no longer with us. Judd's sense of humor made everyone laugh. When I was a kid I asked him what his first name was. He said "dirty". I responded with "that's not funny" even though it really was. One of my favorite moments was when my Grandpa was making rabbit stew. Judd opened the pot and said "Everett, there is a hare in there!" His laughter was contagious. It seemed when he was in the room the saddest of people would become happy. Even though Judd is no longer with us, his laughter, kindness, and integrity will live on in each of us.

Dr. Storey fit me with my first pair of contact lenses in 1963 when I was sixteen. I remember thinking he was the nicest man and best doctor I had ever met! He told me I had beautiful eyes. He probably said that to all nervous potential contact lens wearers , but for me, it was a monumental moment! My sympathy to the family.
