Kristopher K. Burnitz, 33, of Sycamore, IL died on Friday, April 15, 2016, in his home.
He was born on November 16, 1982, in Morristown, NJ to Karl E. and Phyllis Ann (Hahn) Burnitz. Kristopher graduated from UW Madison with his bachelor's degree in History and Anthropology then earned his Master's from Ball State in Anthropology. He was working on his P.h.d. at SUNY in Albany, New York.
Kristopher is survived by his parents, Karl E. and Phyllis Burnitz of Sycamore, IL; his sister, Lauren Ashley Burnitz; uncle, Gary Hahn; aunt, Karen Caron; and several cousins.
He is predeceased by his grandparents, Edward and Lucille Burnitz and Leon and Ruth Hahn.
