Michael Miller Obituary

Michael R. Miller, 55, of Sauk Prairie, Wis., died Sunday, Oct. 22, 2006, at University of Wisconsin Hospital in Madison, following a journey of survival from leukemia that lasted for nine years.
Born April 22, 1951, in DeKalb, Ill., he was the son of Richard and Margie (Cox) Miller. He was united in marriage to Marsha A. Belke on Nov. 21, 1970.
The family would like to share a Bible verse about strength from God, from Joshua 1:9: "Yes, be bold and strong! Banish fear and doubt! For remember, the Lord your God is with you wherever you go."
He is survived by his wife, Marsha, of Prairie du Sac, Wis.; a son, Ryan (Glaselyn Melendez) Miller of Verona, Wis.; three daughters, Patty Miller of McFarland, Wis., Peggy Miller of Madison and Rachel (Michael) Hansen of Sauk City, Wis.; two grandchildren, Asia Miller and Kaleb Hansen; his mother, Margie Miller of DeKalb; two brothers, Patrick (Nancy) Miller of Maryland and Glenn (Xia) Miller of Minneapolis, Minn.; a sister, Dawn (Larry) Aska of Paw Paw; and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father and an infant sister.
He was a member of St. Andrew Evangelical Lutheran Church in Middleton, Wis., where his funeral service was held Oct. 26.
Memorials can be made to the American Cancer Society.

Mike and I had such a great time working together at Jolly's when we were in high school. We always got a kick out of cleaning Jolly's student home above the store.

My condolences to Marsha and their family.
