PAULINE GRANQUIST Obituary

Pauline V. "Polly" Granquist, 97, of St. Charles, Ill., passed from this life to eternal life early Thursday, July 1, 2010, at her home, surrounded by the love and prayers of her family.
She is survived by a son, Richard (Gloria) Wagner-Granquist of DeKalb; a daughter-in-law, Marge Granquist of Geneva; nine grandchildren, Angela (Darius) Sarhadi and their children, Katie and Kyle, of Mesa, Ariz., Richard (Maria) Granquist and their children, Cesrick, Zander and Mikaela, of Bloomington, Ind., Andrew (Yvonne) Granquist and their daughter, Emma, of Madison, Wis., Sara (Tom) Pope and their daughter, Kierstyn, of Genoa, Kevin Granquist of DeKalb, Michael (Jennifer) Granquist and their son, Dustin, of St. Charles, and Mark (Kathryn) Granquist and their children, Christopher, Matthew and Julia, of Geneva; three sisters-in-law, Dorothy Tornberg of Batavia, Vera Peterson of St. Charles and Helen Peterson of St. Charles; many nieces, nephews, cousins; and a family of friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Verner; son, David; five brothers; and one sister.
Pauline's visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. Tuesday, July 6, with a funeral service to follow at 11 a.m. at Grace Lutheran Church, 5N600 Hanson Road, Lily Lake, where Pauline was a member for many years. The Rev. Ernst Rex, pastor of the church, will officiate; interment will follow at Whitney Cemetery.
Memorials in her name may be made to Grace Lutheran Church, Lily Lake, and mailed in care of P.O. Box 8049, Elburn, IL 60119.
