Steve had a great love for his family and was an individual who did anything he could to help a coworker, friend or neighbor. He was a highly skilled professional in his job at the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Department and handled each call with compassion and caring. He was loved by everyone who knew him and will be greatly missed. Steve, God said time to call you home. Love you.

Jeanette & family:

My heart breaks for you. Steven was a giant personality full of love and light. He always found a way to make a difficult situation manageable with his personality and kindness. I think that was one of greatest gifts --simple kindness. Please accept my most heartfelt condolences. When you go through deep waters, I will be with you. -Isaiah 43:2
