Doloris "Jeannie" Dayhoff, age 80 of Bourbonnais, IL, passed away on Saturday, March 21, 2026, at home surrounded by family. She was born on July 11, 1945, in Kankakee, IL to Nicholas and Ada (Owens) Colevris.
Doloris was a retired representative from International Chemical Worker's Union. She loved cooking, especially for her family. She enjoyed playing cards with friends and was an avid reader.
Surviving are one daughter, Kayla O'Keefe of Manteno; one son, Dr. Clyde (Dawn) Dayhoff of Essex; seven grandchildren, Matt (Amanda) O'Keefe, Taylor (William) Georgeff, Hannah (Connor) Maloney, Clyde "Will" (Hannah) Dayhoff, August, Nicholas, and Noah Dayhoff; six great-grandchildren, Haley, Anakin, and Isla O'Keefe, Abigail and Lucas Georgeff, and Callan Maloney; one sister, Brenda (Dave) Smith of Morton, IL; and two nieces.
Doloris is preceded in death by her parents; one son, Nick Dayhoff; one son-in-law, Brian O'Keefe' and one brother-in-law, Steven Dettman.
Cremation rites have been accorded. Memorial visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to noon on Sunday, March 29, 2026, at Clancy-Gernon Funeral Home, Bourbonnais.
